Welcome to Nilla Design Co (“we”, “our”, “us”).
By accessing or purchasing from our online store, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms are here to ensure a smooth and transparent experience for both you and us.


1. General Information

This website is operated by Nilla Design Co, a creative studio based in Cape Town, South Africa.
We design and produce locally inspired art and keepsakes — including wall art prints, greeting cards, magnets, and tote bags.

By visiting our site or making a purchase, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.


2. Online Store Terms

To place an order through our store, you’ll need to be 18 years or older, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have the authority to use the chosen payment method.

You also agree not to use our products for any unlawful purpose or to violate any local laws in your area.
Please note that prices and product details may change from time to time — we’ll always do our best to keep everything up to date.


3. Product Information

Every Nilla Design Co piece is locally designed in Cape Town and thoughtfully produced to reflect our signature style.
Slight variations in colour or texture may occur between batches or due to screen settings — these are part of the natural printing process.

We make every effort to photograph and describe our products accurately, but colours may appear slightly different depending on your device.

We reserve the right to limit sales of our products to any person, region, or quantity if necessary.


4. Order Processing & Shipping

All orders are packed and shipped from Cape Town, with care and attention to detail.

-Unframed Prints, Greeting Cards, Magnets & Bags: Dispatched within 3–5 working days

-Framed Prints: Dispatched within 7–10 working days to allow time for framing and final checks

Local deliveries are handled by The Courier Guy, and international parcels are shipped via TUNL or other competitively priced international couriers.
Once a parcel has been handed over to the courier, Nilla Design Co is not responsible for delays or damages that occur during transit.

5. Returns & Exchanges

We only accept returns for items that are damaged or faulty, reported within 48 hours of delivery.
If your item qualifies, we’ll arrange collection at our cost and either:

-Replace the item (our preferred option), or

-Issue a Nilla Design Co gift voucher for the same value if a replacement isn’t available

We do not offer returns or exchanges for:

-Incorrect or change-of-mind purchases

-Sale or clearance items

-Personalised or custom orders

6. Pricing & Payments

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to adjust prices or discontinue products at any time.

Payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments and trusted partners such as PayFast, Yoco, and PayPal.
We never store or have access to your full card information.


7. Intellectual Property

All artwork, illustrations, product designs, photography, and written content on this website are the intellectual property of Nilla Design Co.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, sell, or exploit any part of our content or designs without written permission from us.


8. Third-Party Services

We work with trusted third parties — such as payment processors, couriers, and analytics platforms — to operate our business efficiently.
These providers only collect or use your information as needed to perform their services.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices or terms of those third parties, but we do our best to partner only with reputable service providers.


9. Limitation of Liability

Nilla Design Co cannot be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.


10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of South Africa.
Any disputes or claims will be handled under South African jurisdiction.
